Best way to loose weight fast? how does this workout sound? |
i belong to 24hr fitness and for the last 2 wks i have been doing 2 water aerobics classes a week, i also ride the stationary bike & use the eliptical machine for 15 min each-at least 2-3 times a week. i am also using weight machines for my arms & legs. i am 5'1'' and (ugh!) 160 lbs. but i'm cute as hell! i don't feel bad about my weight because i dress fashionably and i don't have a muffin top hanging over my jeans. but i would for sure look sexier if i dropped even 20 lbs. and i should start now so i don't get bigger. i have changed my eating habits and am only eating dinner w/ maybe a few crackers or a piece of fruit during the day. i drink plenty of water and juice.( i recently had a miscarriage, so the stress of that has me really not feeling like eating much, so i figured i would turn that into a good thing and take the oppertunity to loose weight.) am i doing anything right? what else could i do? Instead on one big meal in the day... I have learned from being on Weight Watchers that it is better to have multiple little meals throughout the day. If you only have one meal a day and little items here and there your body goes into starvation mode and tries to retain as many calories as possible. Therein causing you not to lose weight but makes it even possible to gain weight that way. Fruit and veggies are your friend and lots of ICE COLD water. You body cannot process water until it is body temp. So if you drink very cold water (I prefer frozen water as it starts to thaw. The colder the better.) your body has to increase your metabolisym to warm the water which inturn makes you burn more calories. This may help along with the exercise you are already doing. Keep it up and don't beat your self up ablut the miscarriage. I had one too. Now I have two happy kids running around. Just don't put pressure on yourself to get pregnant again and it will happen.
