Losing Belly Inches, Love Handles, HELP!?



I have been overweight all my life, I am 23 now and really started to take care of myself more now. I am 5'8 and weighed 255, but really didn't look 255.

Now a days I am running 3 miles a day and riding a stationary bike 9 miles right after. I do weights for about 20 minutes before I do all of my cardio. I am now down to 197 and I feel really good but I still have a gut I guess you would say. How would I go about getting rid of this, I cut my calories and fat intake to lose the weight that I have lose thus far. What is a good technique to lose the love handles and belly fat so that I can now work on definition. Thanks!

Congrats!I lost 70 lbs. and I found that there is no possible way to spot reduce.Even from doing crucnhes and situps I still have a layer of fat over my belly.It's muscle under there you just have to do cardio to make it show.The first place you gained the weight in(your belly)is the last place you will loose it from.Keep your diet healthy with healthy carbs and continue exercising. Okay to lose love handles. Do what your doing, but you have to do situp wit alternative twists.

So in situp position, up, twist left, down, up, twist right.
And so on.

Do them as many times as you can. Over a period of time you will see the difference. If you want to have more of an impact then hold a weight in each hand to reinforce the twisting motion.
