Weight lifting while cardio, is it good or bad?

i saw once a man doing weightlifting while cycling on a stationary bike in the gym. is it ok? is it healthy? doesn't it will strain the body?

That sounds pretty idiotic if you ask me. I can't see any real benifit of doing that, it's like taking two types of exercises and getting the least benifit out of both. He would have been better off doing one then the other at different times, so then you can really focus on the movements.

You'll notice that people have many different ideas about the right thing to do, and many people don't know what it is they're doing. Maybe this guy thought it made sense to do them both; maybe you can observe if he actually makes progress this way or just injures himself. I'm guessing likely the latter.
It depends how much weight he was using.

It's ok to use small dumbells when doing some cardio exercises as this just increases the load on your body and help to burn more calories. Using a lot of weight however will strain your body and you can end up doing more harm than good.

If you want to use weights whilst getting your heart rate up, try holding two dumbells in your hands whilst doing squats, lunges, etc. This will increase your heartrate as you have made your body heavier.
thats terrible for you. The best workouts are ones where you spread out the muscle exercises you are working. Example- Monday- work on your upper body. Tuesday- abs. Wednesday- cardio. ect
it will definetley put a strain on your body
