About 7 weeks ago I started exercising. I went from a pretty sedentary lifestyle to working out 4-6 days a week, 30-60 minutes a day. I usually walk/run on the treadmill and do "hills" on the stationary bike. My first period, after I started my new routine, lasted less than 2 days and the second one lasted about 3 days. Both weren't as heavy as they usually had been in the past. I have pretty predictable cycles but before all this it lasted 5-6 and was pretty heavy in the beginning, now it's down to half that. I've also been taking a "fat burning" pill everyday I exercise.鈥ㄢ€∕y question is could the new stress of all this exercise so soon and all the stuff in the pills be affecting my cycle? Do you think the working out has shortened my cycle and do you think it'll go back to normal once my body gets more used to exercising? Thanks for any help. Btw, if anyone is wondering, I'm not pregnant and these aren't "false periods".
Yes, a change in lifestyle, such as exercise can change your cycle. your new routine exercise is probably changing your period... maybe exercise your doing cause a lot of stress.....and too much stress cause period to not come or delay..
