How long does it take to see the effect of exercise?



I switch from my stationary bike to an elliptical 2 1/2 weeks ago. It is definitely a better workout as I am sweating and it says I am burning twice the calories as before. Shouldn't I see some results? How long does it typically take?

The eliptical is a little better. However cardio is not very effective, so it will take a couple months to see a difference.

Anaerobic exercise such as weight lifting or high intensity interval training burns 9 times as much fat per calorie expended as cardio.

six to eigth weeks depending upon how consistent you work out which should be no less than three days a week.
It depends on the person the age how much you exercise how hard you exercise and also weight.
