Will this make me gain weight?!?!? |
Ok, well this is my daily exercise routine: 40 minutes of aerobics 40 minutes on the stationary bike. The other day I felt this weird feeling in my back...it feels sorta like gas lol...but it's in my upper back..My mom says that I shouldn't be exercising so rigorously everyday, that I should exercise one day yes and one day no. My question is, if I do exercise one day yes and one day no..will that cause me to gain weight? I've recently lost like 30 pounds or so..and I'm practically obsessed with keeping it off...I know..not good...but I want to look and feel good..and I know I do now. So will it? =\ Or what are some other good exercises [besides yoga/pilates] that aren't strenuous and would keep weight off? Thank you soo much!!!! Well I am no expert, but I do go the gym regularly. Rest is essential, to allow your muscles to rest. You will not gain weight by no exercising as regular, you will just not lose as much. I suggest you exercise every other day. Thats what I do. Source(s): My Brain! You are not going to gain it back if you eat right, and still exercise a fair amount of time during your week. no walking might not cause pain. i am an exercise addict and had to stop for a couple months due to a head injury. i didn't gain weight. yoga is good also. or a light neighborhood bike ride. I don't think you will. Nope, it won't make you gain weight if you exercise every other day. Make sure you cut down on what you're eating if you cut down on exercising so much though. There's nothing wrong with exercising every day though. Your mom just might be jealous of your motivation for exercising so much and your weight loss. If anything, set up an appt. with a trainer and have them observe your technique for the exercises you're doing to make sure you aren't doing anything in a way that is bad for you. |
