What kind of effects would cycling in low resistance do to a person's body?

i'd cycle in low/middle resistance (stationary bike) from 30-90 minutes. what kind of result would i have if i continue every day for 2 weeks (i've been doing that for about a week and a half so far) then only do it for 1-3 times a week for a few more months?

This would be an excellent way to build up your cardio-vascular endurance. I would improve your lung capacity and help in everyday activities (e.g., you won't get quite as winded going up stairs). You will also gain strength in your legs, primarily your quads (upper, front part of your legs). Also, if you do not increase the amount you eat, you will most likely loose some weight.

Back to the cardio-vascular. Strengthening your heart is great insurance for the future. Assuming no unexpected accidents, it should extend your life and make life a lot easier. Also, if you remain active, the regular exercise will help you maintain a higher metobolic rate (i.e., you will burn more calories, just doing nothing). While right now, that is no big deal, as you get older your metabolism slows down and this can result in weight gain or the need to reduce calories even further. If you maintain an exercise program from your age on through your adult years, your body's metobolic rate will remain higher than it would if you had not continued exercising. The bottom line, it will be good for you.

Good luck.
The kind of excersise you are doing is called "Aerobic".

Aerobic workouts are very good for the heart and lungs.

It's great that you are working out, but if you quit, it will not be much benefit later on in life, when you need it.
Women can have heart attacks as young as 40 years old.

I would say keep it up and don't quit.
thats great. you won't build actual leg strength but you will be building your cardiovascular strength. I'm 15 and i started mountain biking when i was 13 and i must say in 3 years i am much more healthier
It sounds like you're off to a good start. I guess the effect of what you're doing would be to burn calories. Doing that for a few weeks then tapering off will pretty much just tone your legs and perhaps lose you a few pounds. It all depends on your body type, fitness level and what your actual goal is out of your exercise.

I would recommend that you change your resistance from time to time and your duration of exercise if you're looking to really build fitness. Also, if I were you, I would take steps to avoid hitting a plateau. If you do the same workout everyday, not only does it get boring and repetitive, but you will begin to get less benefit from the ride because your fitness level will not be challenged and your body will not be forced to strengthen itself in response.

My final advice would be if you like it keep doing it. Don't stop. I was a cross-country runner in high school and then didn't do much during college. These days I'm wishing I had kept up a 3 times a week exercise routine as it's much harder to get the fitness of your back. hang onto it as long as you can :)
