So i burned 250 calories?



which took 30 minutes of intense stationary bike, then an hour later i had 2 cans of cola which is 150 calories each negating the whole excercise.

i lose at life?

you burn calories resting, you wont gain any fat unless you have a big surpluss of calories a day, relax.

Dont have the cola silly. And if you were gonna have the cola anyway well you are still better off than before because you would have put on weight instead of negating it. Dont have the cola silly.
Ok PoopHandPeePee, lets take a look at the situation. You burn 250 calories but drink 300 calories. I'm no mathematician, but it looks like you are +50 calories.

Solution - drink diet soda...

Ouch. You're harsh on yourself. Obviously, it's better not to drink too much cola. It's all sugar water... 100% empty calories that don't even make you feel full and satisfy your appetite.

I know how you feel though. Sometimes, I'm cranking it up on the treadmill or the bike or the rowing machine... and it's really frustrating to see how sllloooooowwwwly those calorie counters move. All that work and for a few measly calories?

Well, keep exercising and don't feel bad. Would you have enjoyed two cans of cola anyway? If so, then at least you cancelled them out with some time on a bike! Imagine what would happen if you drank the cola but you didn't exercise! Then you really lose!

Now, next time, instead of two cans... switch to one can. Or maybe have some lower calorie (or diet/light) drinks instead. Or just skip the soda once in a while.

That's not too much right to ask, right? Just cut out one can of soda... and jump on that bike. 250 calories - 150 calories = 100 calories saved! Over time, that adds up.

It's all about making little choices. Then you don't have to give up on cola if you enjoy it... just decrease it a little.
