For losing most the percentage of my body fat- what would be the right cardio workout plan?

I'm leaning towards a stationary bike. If I do choose this, how long, and how many times a week do I workout, if this is even effective?

Everyone is different. Something I could suggest for one person, may not work for you. I suggest making an appointment with a certified nutritionist and a personal trainer. Most gyms have one on staff, and it's really not that expensive to get at least one session to put you on the right track. If you have to fork out a couple hundred bucks...it's a VERY worth while investment...it's your health after all! Good luck!
I always enjoyed circuit training. I do it every day for at least 30 minutes....
anything that gets your heart rate up into the training zone for at least 15 to 30 minutes several times a week. the training zone is about 70% of your max heart rate. Max heart rate is determined roughly by subtracting your age from 220, or for a woman, 209 -(.9x age). It is a rough figure but is sufficient for normal people, that is non athletes, or at least not elite athletes. Workout hard enough to get your heart rate between about 70% and 80% of max several times a week and you'll be fine. Anything over 90% is into the anaerobic zone. Check out the following web site:

the right cardio plan will be one that you enjoy and are motivated to do -- the bike is a good choice, so is running and swimming, b/c they all work large muscle groups which burn the most calories at work.
losing fat is all about burning more calories than you are taking in. 1 lb. of fat is equal to 3500 calories. So, for example, if you are interested in losing a pound of fat/week, you would need to do 5 days of work outs that burn about 700 calories. Most exercise physiologists are now recommending 1 hour/workout for 6 days of the week.
keep in mind though, that most people automatically compensate for extra activity by eating more, so make sure you are not eating extra due to your increase calorie burn
