What diet should i go on? |
Hey guys i'm 17, male, 6ft1 and weigh a terrible 294lbs. I suppose i want to lose around 80lbs of fat. I do 1 hour of cardio a day (stationary bike) and do weight lifting every 2 days with 2x20lbs dumbells. Was wondering how many calories do i currently need to maintain my current weight? and whether to go on a 1200 or 1500 calories diet. Also every morning for breakfast i have a average sized bowl of fruit and fibre with skimmed milk - is this good? Thanks. weight watchers is a good diet... its working for me... i lost bout 20lbs this yr... Source(s): www.weightwatchers.com dont eat at all drink water In my experience and knowledge, diets don't work. I have been on just about everyone you can think of and once you stop, you gain it all back and then some. Here's what I do and it's working very well. I wait until I'm hungry to eat. Seriously! It's that simple. Just wait until you feel that growly empty feeling in your tummy and then just eat enough to make it go away. Drink at least 64 oz of water per day as well. You may feel hungry more often during the day, but as your body burns the food you just ate, it'll let you know when it's ready for more. If you feel like you've eaten too much, just wait for that hunger signal again, then just eat enough to turn the signal off. My husband is 6'2" and weighs about 400lbs. This eating routine has really been helping him as well. See, you have to change the way you eat, not diet. A healthier lifestyle will do more good than dieting your way through life. personal experience and the Weigh Down Workshop you will find one, but if you do don't go crazy and killing yourself lol |
