Am i doing sufficient cardio? |
for about a week now, i've been doing 15km a day on a stationary bike. i finish in twenty minutes, going at 40-45mph. aside from this, i have been doing 100 crunches a day (4 sets of 25),50 pushups (2 sets of 25) and 200 jumprope jumps. i have seen none / very little improvement. i am 157 cm, and 108 pounds. i don't think i'm overweight. the only place where there seems to be a buildup of fat is my abdominal area. can you suggest any improvements for my routine? If you've only been doing it a week, you're not going to see much improvement yet. Try giving it another week or two. Also, you probably don't want to do crunches and pushups every day. Every other day is enough, and it gives your muscles a chance to rest. Add more sitting and watching TV whilst eating a bucket of KFC. Who do you think you are Jack LaLane? Biking is an okay workout, but running or jogging is better for your overall health. Do something where you don't sit on your ***. if you're into cardio work outs, try this! i lost 15lbs in 5 days 1)jogging every morning (haw far? depends on your stamina) 2)tae bo 5 times a week (1hr) 3)hot yoga twice a week (1hr 30mins - to strech and relax your muscles from tae bo and jogging) eat healthy and drink at least 80 ounces of water a day. eating jalapenos and taking 3 table spoons of apple cider vinegar will boost your metabolism! -i feel toned and really healthy =) eat some legume instead of meat, more water everyday.keep walking or biking more than 1 hour everyday. u know the buildup of fat in which part of ur body is not very important, i suggest u just eat less fat but alible, meanwhile keep burn calories,u will see improvement. |
