I would like to load up my iPod with songs that are good to ride my stationary bike to. I was looking for a website that lists songs by tempo, says 64 beats per minute or 100 beats per minute or something like that. Are there websites out there like this?
Sorry I think you will be out of luck on this.You may able to find something on a guitar tablature site(Ultimate-Guitar.com is quite useful)that is to your liking but the tempo does not say as much about the pace as you might think the time signature as well as the feel of the piece(triplet,swing,shuffle etc.)Some pieces though at a slow tempo may be quite fast check Mr.Crowley by Ozzy osbourne for an example.On the other hand other fast pieces due to syncopation and shifting meters may feel considerably slower than written like Birds of Fire by the Mahavishnu orchestra.So ultimately I am not sure how useful any of that will be,personally I say go with your gut. |
