Is it really bad to exercise when you're on your period? |
My mom tells me that..and I was wondering if it's really true. Not that she'd lie to me or anything..just wondering. All I do is aerobics and ride a stationary bike..so it's nothing to strenuous..it's not like I go lift weights or anything. I've never heard of that... I've been in a medical class and have not heard that.. it is reccomended you stick with your daily routine as normal.. its seen to reduce cramping by exercising..odd Well, ive heard that it is better to keep active when you have your period. I would keep excercising, maybe go for jogs. because if you dont, you could gain weight- depends on how ur hormones are feeling, or you just wouldnt be used to it. I say think reasonable and excercise, even though moms are the magic touch:) Absolutely not. Exercise helps reduce menstrual cramps to. It doesn't matter what you do when you have your period. you can do exercises that will be easy on the body and be okay while on your period Of course it's not bad, I don't know why she would say that to you. Continue to exercise, even strenuously. Nurse No!! On the contrary, it's really good. It helps with the pain to stay active if you get cramps and it sometimes help with bloating. |
