What will it do? |
If I do about 100 situps a day (sometimes with my feet under an edge in place of someone holding them) and 15 minutes of stationary bike riding a day....will I be able to gain a little muscle and lose stomache fat? It's good if you're getting 15 minutes of cardio [bike riding], but you should be getting 30 minutes to an hour. Situps really don't do that much. They especially don't make you lose stomach fat. They will build muscle if done every single night for quite some time, but you'll need to increase the number by about a hundred every week or so, or your muscles won't build. If you eat right, drink lots of water, and stay active, your body will function & look better. But crunches & situps really don't tone that great. Try rounding out your activities, instead of targeting just your abs. Definitely, I would assume. any excersise will help build muscle and get rid of fat, as long as you are ALSO eating healthy. I think you are right on track with the exercise but I wonder if you are trying to diet too. If one wants to lose weight it is necessary to cut back on calories too. |
