What sort of exercise can I do with a broken toe?



I broke my toe two days ago and it's bruised and swollen. I run six days per week and I was wondering how long it's going to take to be able to go back to regular exercise.

I was also wondering if it would be OK to ride a stationary bike at the gym, and if so, whether it would be advisable to do so anytime in the next week.

sit ups, arm workouts would be good i broke my ankle before and thats all i could do fo a while but if you just broke it you should waite a week before doing anything on it and if it is not hurting that much sure you can ride a stationary bike just dont over do it

I have broken a few of my toes....i used the elliptical I think. I also did the stationary bike...i lifted weights...i think i swam also. But you are right....no running!
years and years of triathlons...
well u can do sit ups chin ups jsut dont land on dat foot when ur done some yoga
