Is this a good diet for me? |
My goal is to eat between 1000-1500 calories a day, no eating after 8 pm, and I'm allowed one or two days where I don't count calories (but I still eat slowly and don't overeat). Also, I run about a half hour about 4-5 days a week on a stationary bike at a moderately vigorous pace. i dont know your stat but i can tell that 1000cal is not gona be enough, body needs 50cal/hour just to function (like when you are in coma) and thats 1200cal/day for a person thats under 150lbs. also - it doesnt matter what time of the day you eat - its still calories not counting 2 days a week is gona make the whole thing go to waste find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose. eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours) 5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day 8 glasses of water have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily. ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:) It sounds like a good diet. It probably depends on what your goals with this are. you sholud try to not eat after 6:00p.m. (south carolina time) because in business 6:00 starts a new day. You might want to increase it to at least 1,200 on days you don't work out, and about 1,700 on days you do work out. Eat about 5 times a day, or every 3 hours, to regulate blood sugar and prevent your body from going into starvation mode. That depends on your BMR and your height and age. Also running on a hiking trail or something similar burns many more calories than anything mechanical. The machine does half the work for you. Personal experience i think you need more calories than that dont starve urself get enough nutrients |
