Is this too much food? |
Trying to lose a couple lbs. or maintain. Is this too much food for one day? TONS of red grapes (lotslotslots) many cups Amy's organic vegetable soup - 140 cals green bean and tomato sauteed grilled chicken (which i put in my soup and sandwich) probably 1 1/2 breast 2 slices of wheat bread - 80 cals honey mustard - 10 cals exercise: 1 hr 15 yoga, 1 hr 35 brisk walk, 30 min elliptical 15 min stationary vertical seated bike Might want to keep in mind that while fruit is good for you, it is very sugary and that sugar will turn to fat, so don't just eat a million grapes just because its fruit. i think this is not a lot of food that is because you are exercising which burns half of the calories also most of the food you have on their is veggies so dont worry you are fine just keep exercising oooh and drink a lot of water head I would say no. The reason being you have a very active exercise plan going and your body needs fuel to burn. It sounds like you have a very good balance. That is what I have learned on my plan is that you have to ensure balance. www.juststopeatingsomuch.com Thats not a bad daily diet but considering the amount of exercise ur doing I would suggest u might want to add some extra carbohydrates. Carbs & protein have about the same amount of energy but carbs are metabolised slower so u get more sustained energy throughtout the day. u should also vary ur diet a bit as well. Add some red meat once or twice a week. Some potatoes or rice would be a good way of getting some carbs and might be a nice change occaisionally too. I am 315 pounds and I eat less than that!! Actually... not really.... it just felt good to say it... |
