Is this too much exercise? |
I'm trying to lose the weight that I put on after having a baby. Well 15 months ago. But better late then never, right? I bike (stationary) 25-30 miles a day and take the dog for a good 30 min walk every day. Is this too much? Iv'e been doing this for about two weeks now. your body will give you signal to let you know that you are exercise too much. For example, if you do cardio 2 hours a day and the next day, you leg will feel sore and you do not feel like walking. It depends on if you handle that much exercise. Be sure to drink a lot of water too. Source(s): personal experience if your body feels like its too much then probably tone it down a little but if u feel fine then keep on going. No for someone trying to lose especially baby fat walking and biking of any kind will tone fast just stick with it and follow a good diet. Good luck i prefer the dog for 30 mins You need to give your muscles a day of rest. And you also should do some resistance training in between with barbells for your arms and upper body.. It will strenghten your bones and gives you leg muscles a rest. Remember to breathe properly, the best is singing, because Oxygen in your cells aids weight loss. talk to a personal trainer. They can help you and factor in your age, weight, BMI, height, and fitness level. If you feel that you are over-doing it even a little, then turn it down. Work outs should be something where you have to push yourself a little, but pushing yourself too much can do serious damadge to your body. Good luck! |
