I need to lose 15 lbs!!? |
I've started riding a stationary bike. I'm going to do it every day for 40 minutes (that's how long it took me to burn 300 calories according to the bike). Then I do 100 crunches after that (20 reps 5 times resting about 1 minute in between). If I do this everyday and eat healthfully how long would it take to lose 15lbs? I'm 5'3 and 130lbs by the way and I'm 21. i lost 10lbs just by gettin rid of the yeast in my stomach, dont eat dairy products for 6 weeks and take a natural called florastor It sounds like you're on the right track to losing the 15 pounds. However, in order to burn fat efficiently, you have to add more variety to your aerobic training. For example, you can ride your stationary bike on Monday, run on a soft surface like grass on Tuesday, and swim on Wednesday. But you won't lose that much body fat from just riding a stationary bike, you have to make sure that you are sweating a lot. That way, you know you're burning a lot of calories. Crunches aren't really necessary to do to lose body fat, unless you won't your abs to show in the future. Also, you have to make sure you are eating very well and that your nutrition is healthy. Nutrition and aerobic exercise combined will get that 15 lbs. away for you, but everyone knows it's not going to happen overnight. You must be patient. Hope I helped. :) Biking is not an effective cardio workout, nor does it tone lean muscle, except in the legs somewhat. I would reccommend running or using an elliptical for half that time. That will burn more calories an tone muscle. Muscle burns fat, plus you don't want flappy skin. Also, it would be better to alternate, one day cardio one day crunches. Doing both on the same day will overwork your body and you will be only able to study it for a short time. Also try to add in pushups to your workout as well, on days you do crunches. you should jog around the neighbor hood that should work do it every day well Here's what I've found the works for losing weight. First of all, no way to know how long it will take you to lose 15 lbs b/c everyone's metabolism is different....but here's what to do for the best results. |
