Is it possible to gain 2 pounds overnight??! please help? |
Yesterday morning I hopped on the scale, and it said I weighed 141. Ok. But today (this morning) I got on the scale and it said 143. Is it possible to gain that much weight overnight? I already eat healthy, and I eat about 1300 calories every day! I don't need advice on how to lose weight cuz I already know. a pound of fat is 3500 calories. someone may have adjusted the scale during the time lapse. or you may have retained a lot of water. exercise, going to the bathroom, meals, time differences, etc all change the reading. you wouldn't have gained two pounds of muscle during the night. i would say its probably your body retaining its reserves to build your muscles but not your muscles being two pounds heavier. don't worry. its perfectly healthy =] If you weigh yourself every day you will see these fluctuations...a 2 lb swing is typically water weight. It's best to weigh yourself once a week for an accurate number. Your body weight fluctuates up to 5 lbs everyday. So you are better off if you only weigh yourself one time a week at the same time of day every week. water retention..periods etc so many things affect it..ppls weight does fluctuate a coule of pounds through th month..stop obsessing!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont think it is possible either something is wrong with your scale or you just drank a lot of water :3 You gain weight when you consume more calories than you burn. Did you eat a snack before going to sleep? |
