Will THIS make it easier to lose weight? |
I've been injured for months now. As a result, I've gained 20 pounds. Since I wasn't allowed to walk (nor could I), I started using a stationary bike which I bought for the home. I have been up to 35 minutes per day, and using 3-pound weights too. I also eat incredibly healthy (believe me, ANYONE would think that. I eat things like veggies, salmon, and fruit), and I don't eat too much. Regardless, I am NOT shedding any weight...I am thinking that this is because I do not have any muscles. Since I am starting to be able to walk again a bit, I added walking to my day. STILL, no weight lost. SO, today I walked for 60 minutes, with 3-pound weights. Will walking with the 3-pound weights make it MUCH easier to lose weight than walking without them?? I won't be able to walk every day as this will bring back injuries to my tendons. However, when I do, I am thinking that walking with these weights in my hands will help me lose weight? I HOPE so, what do you think (it may sound like a silly question but so far I CAN NOT lose ANY weight!)... Oh, I am not overeating at all. I am eating very small portions. I think walking with weights in your hands will help you to lose some weight, but if it will result in back injuries, then I would walk only in moderation and consult with your doctor first. He might want you to use 1 pound weights and slowly increase to 3 pound. Since you are eating a healthy diet, I don't think that is the problem. Well your exercising is right on. I'm thinking your diet might be the cultprit. Just eating healthy isn't all thats necessary. You can still overeat with healthy food, and if you don't eat enough it can slow down your metabolism. have you treid this workout video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezr... |
