So, my friends are all super skinny, and I NEED to fit in with them. How can I lose about 13lbs in one month?


Ive gotta about a month (til school starts).
I cant walk outside (I live by a highway), but I do have a 'stationary bike'.
How many calories should I eat daily and how much should I ride the bike?

Is this enough?

A few items to understand:

1. The internet site that you are pulling numbers from is a general reference. It does not know how many calories you are actually burning as there are many different body types that will have differentmetabolic levels.

2. The information that you have pulled off is for you basal metabolic rate - that is if you lie in bed and do nothing, this is a rough estimate of the number of correct calories that you need such that your body has the nutrients to survive.

3. The biking to burn 400 calories per day is going to have to be either extemely intense, or for an extended period of time.

4. You didn't give your height, but if you are already slim, it will be more difficult for you to lose weigh. The one thing that you will be able to accomplish, if you will stop looking at the scale, is to become more fit and drop body fat - again depending on your starting point.

5. 13 pounds in one month for a person who has a fair amount of body fat to lose is a challenge as this is at the upper end of what is considered a good permanent weight loss range - ~2-3 lbs per week. As you are only at 107 lbs, this number is going to be more along the lines of ~1-1.5 lbs and that is if you have body fat to lose.

Concentrate on a clean diet, cardio in the morning, and don't worry about what the scale says. The scale doesn't measure fat loss.

no u do not ' need' to fit in with your friends. Your friends like you for your personality and not the way that you look! well they should anyway otherwise they arent good friends. How much do you weight, how tall are you and how old are you? We need to know this to help you as weight loss is based on metabloism and that changes with age.

1) Put the soft-drinks and the juices down. DRINK WATER!

2) Whenever you get hungry, brush your teeth!

pedal all day you will loose serious weight and dont eat any mcdonalds or fast food, only meet and vegetables, dont eat junk food

Do you just like girls or something? Skinny girls are ugly. Everyone knows girls just get skinny to compete with each other. Most guys just don't find skinny girls attractive at all. Good luck with you and your friends though.

try burnig more and more calories per day, and keep moving. do a little dance while your wating for you food to be done, or during commercials.

Well if you HAVE to fit in and be "super skinny" than ur gonna have to fast. But if you want o maintain a healthy weight all you have to do is:
-Eat only healthy food, and don't eat to much meat in a day or you will put on weight (Meat is high in fat)
-Try to bike 2-3 hours every day except weekends (to recover)
Drink lots and lots of water.

This is a seriously scary question. But i shall answer anyway. The most effective way is to use the interval training method, which is run as fast as you can for 2 minutes then a soft jog for 2 minutes. Repeat this for half an hour. Running is better than spinning as your using all your body and believe me you will know the differnece in the sweat after half an hour. The fat will dissapear. But above all a sensible diet with this training or you wont be able to function. Vegetables, some fruit (not tropical), grains, fish, seeds, nuts, legumes and lean meats.

I hope you work out this life or death situation.
