Well from my knowledge of nutrition, dieting and exercise you should try to eat more protein and reduce your carbohydrate and fat intake accordingly. You don't really need a stationary any type of cardio is going to help you reduce overall fat on your body. A common misconception is that you can just do "spot treatment" and remove fat naturally from just one area of your body, the truth is it happens all over. If when the time comes you would also like to be toned and not just low in fat in your stomach I would recommend crunches and reverse crunches as well as adhering to a strict diet and cardio plan over the next 40 days, hope this helps!

You weigh 122 pounds and are complaining that you are fat?

No offence, but the bike won't directly impact your stomach.

If you're THAT dedicated, do crunches and tons of ab exercises, which will target the stomach muscles. You can find tons of these on the internet with enough searching, instead of spending money on a bike that may never really be used, and will disappoint in the end.

Stop eating junk, drink water instead of fizzy juice.

Go for long walks and listen to music in your mp3/i-pod to motivate you and finally do some sit-ups, starting off 10 a night and increase slowly to 100 a night.

DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF - you will only loose out in the long run.

this is what i did..

1. Dropped all the junks.
2. Breaktfast = eat quite a lot..,
Lunch = like a sandwitch... subway should do..
Dinner = salad.. light things..

3. Drink at least 2liters of water everyday.
4. Maintain your sleeping times.

Hope ot helps:P

Drop the junk food and drink Pleanty of water.

yes u should go for bike and more exercises

There are two main kinds of exercise, and both are necessary for our bodies to look good and to be healthy. One is cardio exercise that builds up your heart muscle and aids in overall circulation to the rest of your body. The other type of exercise is to build muscle mass and strengthen the muscles groups in areas that you work out.
Stationary bikes are good for overall cardio workouts, although you can walk/jog for free and get a better cardio workout that way. The bike isn't going to help you control the flatness of your abs--the abdominal muscles. You need to do Pilates, crunches, or other exercises that focus on strengthening the muscles in your "core"-- your torso.
What you really want to do is exercise to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and replace the fatty deposits there with lean muscle mass. Even sit-ups can help you to replace the fat on your abdomen with lean muscle mass. Also--don't be so hard on yourself!! Some women naturally have a rounded abdomen, and in some areas, because of their genetic makeup. It is considered more beautiful for it to be slightly rounded than it is for it to be perfectly flat in some areas.
And the other person who told you to drink lots of water is correct as well. You need to drink lots of water--at least 2 liters daily--to help to flush out the metabolic wastes from your body as it eliminates the fat and builds new muscles.Your diet is also important, as it is important for you to eat a good healthy diet with lots of fruits & veggies in it and not so much fat, carbs, and unhealthy foods.
Good luck, and I think that you'll look great in your sari.

A bike sounds like an excellent way to lose a little weight, though you don't sound like you need to lose a whole lot. Cardiovascular exercise like biking is good for your overall body and health. Add a healthy diet and your "pauch" should be gone in no time. A stationary bike is good because it can be used inside, out of extreme weather. Just don't forget to use the bike! And while crunches will help tone your muscle, they won't get rid of the flab. You will have to lose the weight all over. Good luck! You can do it with some determination. :)
