Want to loose weight in about 30 to 40 pounds.?


I am 5 feet tall(no inches), about 162 pounds.
I am trying to keep my carolie intake some where between 1500 and 2000. I am going to be using a stationary bike and treadmill a couple times a week. When I use the bike and treadmill it would be for 30 minutes each (1 hour total) or 30 minutes total(15 minutes and 15 minues or 10 minutes and 20 minutes)...4 to 7 times a week
I am not expecting to loose weight quickly. I am setting a goal of loosing the 30 to 40 pounds. that would take me down to somewhere between 122 and 132.

I have two questions:
1. I want to loose this weight by September of 2009. Is that a reasonable amount of time. I want to allow myself a little room to slip up with out feeling guilty abou it.
2. Once I get the weight off I don't want to get back to my old habbits of eating again. How do I keep if off? Is it possible instead of doing a total of an hour of exersizing a night I could do only 30 minutes 3 time or 4 times a week?

I drink mostly water.
Once a day I drink 8 Oz. of OJ a day.
I try to eat one or two "snacks" a day.
I consider soda a "snack" but I don't drink soda much any more. Drink soda maybe once a week.

Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It's actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.


* Be in right frame of mind

* Eat whole food

* Eat fresh fruit

* Drink enough water

* Always chew your food

* Take small meals

* Include protein at meal

* Shut off TV while eating

* Increase your physical activity
