Can someone help me with this weight loss plan (it's not anorexia, so PLEASE read details)?


Okay, so this is what I鈥檓 doing now-

I limit my calorie intake to 1500 calories a day (and cutting out crap like soda-which I never drink anyway, candy-except a VERY VERY small amount of chocolate :), and meals with freakish amounts of calories)

I ride my Stationary bike for 30 min a day on low/medium resistance

Is this a good way to lose weight? I鈥檓 not in a rush to lose it, I just need to lose some weight before august 25th....

How many calories should I burn daily from exercising?
How long and how Often should I ride my stationary bike?
Also, I CAN'T STAND RUNNING AT ALL!!!!!

BTW, I'm 15 years old, weigh 150 pounds, Im 5'7, and Im just trying to get really skinny and minimizing my body fat so then I can start building muscle...

make sure you're eating fruits and veggies

maybe throw in some other exercises?
like sit ups or something of the sort

If you're serious about losing weight in a healthy, productive way I can't emphasize enough the benefit and effectiveness of Weight Watchers program.

It will allow you to monitor you're calorie intake in a healthy weigh and with consistent exercise you will lose weight at a fairly good rate.

Don't forget good old water. I drank three liters per day, ate 1,500 calories, avoided too much fat, cut out ALL saturated and trans fats, ate fiber and whole grains, got plenty of vegetables and fruit, ate a LOT of protein, exercised 30-60 minutes daily, and ate no sugar of any kind. Lost 100 pounds the healthy way -- gradually.

So it sounds like you're on the right track -- just add in the water.

Im sorry to say that you can't Starve youself, you body jsut starts to store more fat when you do.

You should be eating about 2000-2500 calories a day. Riding your bike is a very good idea! Just btw 150 pounds, i don't see why you need to loose weight :S

But if you are serious on going on a diet, please contact your doctor because only he/she will find the PERFECT way for you to loose weight. Sorry but it is true.

And you shouldn't get skinny THEN start building muscle. No one said you can't do both at once.
