My excercise resume.?


Ray-sheme. I have no idea how to spell it lol.
Every day for 3 weeks(except Saturdays) at 9:30 I'll do 10 minutes of a stationary bike, lose 110 calories and then have a 5-10 minute break, then I'll do another 10 minutes and lose 100 calories and then have a 5-10 minute break, and then i'll do another 10 minutes and lose 110 calories. During these, my heartrate average is around 190, and I'm 12 years old.
I won't be having any snacks just fruit and vegetables, and occasionally a biscuit or 2.
How much weight do you think I'll lose and do you think my excercise thingy is good? Thanks =)
P.S. Don't think I'm one of those teenage girls who care about nothing but looking in fashion and thin, I really do need to lose weight I'm about 5 kilos over the average weight atm.

Ok. I just did a diffrent reysheme.
I did 15 minutes on the statonary bike and lost 150 calories I had my heartrate about 180 heartrate average. Then I did 5 minutes with a mix of cardio, sit-ups, push-ups and jumping jacks and then I did 10 minutes on the stationary bike with my heartrate about 185 average. Will I lose more weight in 5 days by doing that or by doing what I did before?

the only thing is your food intake! it looks like it needs
improvements!! fruit and veges arnt enough
to sustain you when doing exercises!! see a dietitian
for help of what will sustain you and build your
metabolism to lose weight!! good luck!

Regime. Also don't bother having breaks, just do a solid 20-30 minutes when you are watching TV or something. If you can't do it at first, start with 15 minutes and work your way up. If you only do 10 minutes at a time you probably won't even break a sweat. The snack thing is good though = )

well there is 3500 calories in a pounds so by this rate you might loose a pound in like a week. but you should a some more power in your routine and add my stuff like running or sit ups.

You need to exercise for 15 minutes + straight because that's when you really start to lose weight. At least 30 mins of exercise each day.

You must not take the breaks between the time on the bike. The key is a "sustained heart rate". If you are working so hard your heart rate jumps to 190, your body stops burning fat and goes into "cardio mode" to do max performance.

So go slower and longer on the bike.

You must also do weights. Each toned muscle is like a little fat-burning machine working for you. When they are all toned, that's a lot of machines at work!

You could also get involved with a school sport like football, swimming, track, field hockey, etc. That extra exercise will burn even more.

One last important thing to keep in mind, being 12 years old, your body is still growing and you still have "baby fat". When you hit 15-16, your body will transform and you'll see a sudden "slimming". Granted it won't be overnight, but with a constant healthy food and exercise plan, it will happen.

Remember, never starve yourself, and listen to your body.
