So i need to lose about 40-50 lbs for Florida. How long will it take?


I am 15, guy, weigh 220lbs, and i am 6ft 1in tall.

So i just found out that i am going to Florida on June 11, 2009 For 1-2 weeks. Then we are going to Gatlinberg Tenn. So i need to lose about 40-50 lbs. Do you think i could do this in 11 months. I know cardio is good but i have exercise enduced asthma and have a hard time running for long times. Walking would be really good for me. I also have a stationary bike, and a pool. I need to find somewhere where you can make your own diet plan online meals and everything. It can't be to expensive at all to sign up and set up some plans. I really want to work hard for this weight loss. It is just not cutting it with me trying to make my own healthy food. I really don't know what is healthy food. So a site would do wonders for me.

At your age and stature, it is very realistic to achieve your goal. You will have to perform a weightlifting routine to add muscle and increase your metabolism. For your cardio work, do what you enjoy.

Start with 3000 calories per day and perform compound movements such as squats, deadlifts, bench press, bent over rows, pullups and military presses. These will add mass to your musculatrue and help to turn your body into a calorie burning machine.

In answer to the part.. is it possible to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time...It is possible, a guy at our church lost 70 pounds in 8 months when we asked him what in the world he did he said he was on some sort of diet that involves placenta, we didn't even believe him but I mean I don't think he'd lie in the house of God..lol anyway we tried to look it up on the internet and came up with nothing but Tom Cruise jokes. So I don't know he explained the whole process but I lost him after "placenta". If I see him again I'll get more information, he was super skinny, I thought he'd gotten sick or something. Either way these days you can't trust people because they might blow smoke about how they worked hard to lose the weight when all they did was get Gastric Bypass Surgery. Just make sure whatever you do is safe, losing too much weight too fast is not recommended, I wish you the best in your efforts!
