So i need to lose about 40-50 lbs for Florida. How long will it take? |
I am 15, guy, weigh 220lbs, and i am 6ft 1in tall. also how many calories do you have to burn to lose a pound??? At your age and stature, it is very realistic to achieve your goal. You will have to perform a weightlifting routine to add muscle and increase your metabolism. For your cardio work, do what you enjoy. It will take 4 to 5 months to lose 40 to 50 pounds, thats at a healthy 2 pounds a week. The perfect diet for you would be the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet. It's easy, fast, healthy and cheap. In answer to the part.. is it possible to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time...It is possible, a guy at our church lost 70 pounds in 8 months when we asked him what in the world he did he said he was on some sort of diet that involves placenta, we didn't even believe him but I mean I don't think he'd lie in the house of God..lol anyway we tried to look it up on the internet and came up with nothing but Tom Cruise jokes. So I don't know he explained the whole process but I lost him after "placenta". If I see him again I'll get more information, he was super skinny, I thought he'd gotten sick or something. Either way these days you can't trust people because they might blow smoke about how they worked hard to lose the weight when all they did was get Gastric Bypass Surgery. Just make sure whatever you do is safe, losing too much weight too fast is not recommended, I wish you the best in your efforts! |

wow. what more could u do? ...honesetly the more u workout the better, but short 30 min intervals will increase fat metabolism and in return burn more fat. however looking at it from a cardiovascular point of view, working out ... I personally don't understand why people who already have exercise routines think this will add something substantial to their workout. Wii Fit is designed for people who A) want to explore yo... No. A stationary bike will exercise your slow-twitch muscles, not your fast-twitch. Building upper body mass will probably be counter-productive, too. ...do what your body feels is best. If you want a work out, then it sounds like you should do the eliptical. If you want to do some serious,calorie-burning cardio then do the stationary bike. (or mayb... Either you mis-read it or they are insane. No exercise reduces bone density. What can be said is cycling isn't a good exercise to maintain general bone density. That would be fair and accurate... Anything that gets you moving helps. Reading makes it more pleasant; go go!! ..... Likely, on a day when you haven't biked, you can run more than three minutes. On a very small level you experience what a number of novice (like myself) and not-so-novice triathletes ... |
