How much am i suppose to wieght at my age and hieght and how do i lose the wieght?

I am about 6'0 tall and 201 pounds.Male. 15 years old. Ive been trying to lose some wight i am fat and the doctor said i;m overwirght and i really need some help. Ido not know what to do. Iv'e been riding a stationary bike for 20 minutes and i can barely do that . If i keep doing it will it eventually get better for me and i will be able to do it for longer.

Your not as overweight as you think and it also depends how much muscle you have. If you are very muscular you will lose weight faster. If you are not than I suggest working out and lifting to gain muscle. Than it will be much easier

I would stick with doing the bike, and maybe lifting weights. Lifting weights won't make your muscles bigger until AFTER you lose the unecessary weight. Try to eat healthier foods, I don't mean diet, but eat smaller portions of salads, maybe a chicken sandwich. Usually eat things that you make at home; restaurants and fast food places use a lot of grease and fat (it makes the food taste better, that's why we LOVE eating out). When I exercised a lot last summer, I found that I didn't eat as much, and I defacated a lot, which is good. It shows that your metabolism is speeding up. If you put some Metamucil in your drinks, it flushes out the bad stuff and the fat. It is NOT a diet supplement, it's a fiber powder. It is completely healthy for you. I promise. Good luck, and don't diet. Diets are unhealthy and un natural. =]

According to your height of 6' 0" your ideal healthy weight is 165 pounds. Your recommended weight range is between 147 and 183 pounds.

This was calculated using Hamwi formula, a simple formula commonly used by many clinicians.

These are recommended weights. Talk with your doctor about what weight is best for you and before undertaking any new diet or exercise programs.

your BMI (body mass index) should be between 19.5 and 24.9, which is recommended by health professionals.

exercise outside on a real bike because it's hot out during the summer so you'll sweat (just come home and take a shower, you'll be fine) because the more sweat you lose, the more weight you'll lose. drink lots and lots of water and eat fruits and veggies BEFORE every meal because they'll fill you up and water will keep you hydrated.

yah i used to be over wieght.
Your suppose to weigh about 155 pounds.
what i did was first start out with about 50 sit ups in the beginning of the day and night and did like 60 leg lifts on each side. You can basically still eat what you want but in smaller portions. Or have junk only on weekends but don't over do it. At first its hard but after the first month it get's easier.

Hey guy, stop worrying about your weight or it will consume you. Look for a great interest, bikes, sport, art, Judo or hiking etc. If you get involved in an activity that is regular, at least 3 times a week, you will grow the way you are suppose to. If you over eat, under exercise or do things that are bad for you it is obvious you will have problems of one type or another.

are you strong? or do you have fats? if you are not strong, mucular, I encourage you to exercise.. maybe 175 lbs would be okay for 6'0.. you are a big guy for 15.. but you are okay.. just stay healty..

yes, it will get easier

You should be doing closer to an hour of excercize per day. Just gotta push yourself, and eat healthy!!!

dude 6 foot 201 pounds is fine. im 6'1 205 and im pretty skinny. of course i play football and im totally fit but yeah... get into football you'd be hella good

I would suggest you to have a chat with your physician regarding your weight problems. he would be the best person to give advice.

The most important thing to loose weight is to have the will and desire to stay healthy and fit. You can do a simple exercise, list down advantages of being healthy and fit and then ask yourself one question, "Is this what i want?"
Depending on your answer work towards the goal and achieve it.

Like they say "Rome was not built in a day". It takes perseverence and persistence to achieve good things in life.

If you make up your mind, reply to this post and probably i will list out some simple and easy tips to stay healthy and fit, loosing weight is just a part of that.

All the best
