How much weight will I lose by the end of August from the following workout? |
Stationary bike at a moderate pace for 2 hours, jog 6 miles, and bike 3 miles. If I do this every day and eat healthy, how much weight will I lose by the end of August? Its a decent workout, but only one side of the equation. Any weight loss will also depend on how much you put in your mouth. I'm guessing you doing this to lose a few pounds either for school or work purpose.If that is the reason,you will probably be highly motivated,resulting in the weight loss of 42 lbs. men typically need 2000 calories give or take depending on age height...etc. but if you are working out intensively everyday that will raise to 2800 or more (especially if you are working 3-4 hours) so just do the math (3500=1lbs) To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you take in, plain and simple. You seem like you will have quite a bit of time on your hands this summer to get in that much daily, I applaud your ambition but make sure this goal is realistic if you haven't worked out in a while. well at first you will loose a bit of weight but muscle weighs more than fat so it'll look like your gaining weight but don't be alarmed...you then should loose the weight you wan't....its a very good workout, just try to eat some protein ok.
