How to get great legs? |
I'm 5'3, so my legs aren't that great as it is. I feel like I look horrible in dresses. My legs feel so stubby and "boyish" And to top it off, my stomach has absolutely no curve to it. How can I get great legs? I want to really target my butt and thighs, without squats and lunges. For some reason, when I do them, my legs shake and I can't hold it. I'm not trying to lose weight, just tone up. Would using a stationary bike work? How long each day should I use it? I just recently started doing tabata squats, because I don't like original squats either, im 5'2 and 102, small framed, Ive only done the tabata squats once so far, but a day later, I saw a difference in my legs and thighs,more toned, and butt, I am gonna keep doing them, only thing is, u have to rest for 2-3 days afterwards because your legs will be sore, but it goes away. I also do stairsteps, 20, just running up and down the stairs, which is one complete stairstep, i started with 15 then moved up to 20 a week later, stay hydrated during this too. I do these 2-3 days a week, but diet is important too, make sure you are eating enough , so you dont lose weight doing these, but ull gain definition and muscle, for the stomach, crunches work, do some before you go to bed, with the squats and the crunches, ur body shape will change, and u will see a curve, I didnt have one before either, now i do, of course every body is different, but thats why u gotta do trial and error to find out what works for you, gluck ur welcome, thanx 4 best answer, hope they're working for you, I really think they're more effective than original squats when you're straining to get back up, these you just pop up with a burst of energy :) but you gotta pace yourself or you'll run out of energy happened to me once, lol. I have the same problem, im 5"1 so my legs look all short and fat.. ive heard that walking is great for toning them up so thats what im gonna do.. sorry, no matter what you do, you'll NeVER get great legs!!!! Hahah =) Plenty of walking there is nothing, that let presses, squats, hamstring curls, and calf raises cannot do.. they will give u great results.. try doing those once a week... twice a week maxiumum.... |

I am not an expert but it seems like you are overtraining. You should try doing interval training as it burns 9 times more fat than moderate cario and you maintain muscle mass. You are eating e... sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not even close to being possible. my wife is a genetically gifted athlete, and i supervise her training and diet... i've never seen anyone get resu... No such thing as too much cardio. (unless your chest starts to hurt, you begin to feel dizzy, or get muscle pains - then you should stop) ...What you are doing is called cardio, which is pretty much the opposite of gaining weight. If you start doing it longer, you will simply be burning more calories. So don't worry about it. ...If what your saying is true you should have no trouble losing 20 pounds. Cut out all pop also. ...jeez girl, eat something! you are only 128 lbs, and you're 5'5". Sounds to me like you're doing fine. Eat something and go do your homework.... quit worrying about how toned you... If you are under 130 lbs. at 5'10" you are skinny. A lot of females may weigh less than you do but they are typically shorter. I'm a guy, borderline anorexic, 5'10", an... Try 1500 calories tomorrow and keep up with the exercising! ... |
