While im playing hockey i get a burning pain in the muscles around my shins and calves.?


my friend told me to warm up by running on a tredmill or riding a stationary bike. i do it before and after. i have been doing that and it worked great for a month. now my pains are back even though i do this warm up still.

Warming up is good but you also need to make sure that you're taking in plenty of fluids before, during and after playing. Up your fluid intake with something like Gatorade that has electrolytes, this should help.
