What sports bike could I buy that is affordable for a 16 -17 year old? |
HI I'm 16 born in 1992 January 1 (No lie!), and I live in Ontario. I would like to start saving for my sport bike. I would also like to know if you need a car license first before you can get your bike license. ** Google brand names - you should get all the answers you need and price Don't buy a new bike. Find a good 2-3 year old bike. Chances are you'll damage it so you might as well have an older one. Sport bikes, with one exception, are not good first bikes. The multi-cylinder machines all make their power in the high RPM range, making low speed driveability difficult. I saw a kid drop his 600 Honda in the Sears parking lot yesterday, dumping his girlfriend on the asphalt too. It still had the temporary tag on it. He almost stalled it going over a speed bump.... kicked it down a gear and let the clutch out too fast... it jerked ... stalled ... and flopped. They have no low end torque. |
