What do you think is a good bike for me?

i'm really looking into getting a sports bike, i don't know much about motorcycles at all but i want to have fun this summer... anyways i'm about 5'10" and 150 pounds.... overall what do you think a good bike would be?

umm first you need to learn how to ride one. take a class thats offered like at your local community college over the summer and get a bike license if you dont have one yet..

next you need to invest in something small like a used ninja 250 or something is good to learn on because its only a 250 and your not gonna kill yourself like if you learned on a 750 or something..

and never get a new bike for your first one, you WILL drop it. guarenteed.

You're tall but light. Think about getting a used Kawasaki Ninja 500. Check Craigslist -- you can get a recent year used Ninja 500 for about $3400.

If you take a riders training course at a local mc dealer you should be able to handle something like a 500-650. Suzuki SV is a good choice. Stay away from the racing styles like the GSX-R for now. If you sign up for the class at a harley dealer they usually train you on a Buell which would also be a good choice.

Well a used bike is a good starter, just make sure it hasnt been flogged and dropped forever.

If youre going to get a new one, a 250cc bike is a good starter. A little punch, but it wont get away from you.

yeah i think bikes are fun i own 2 of my own just be careful out there the road is never safe.
