What's a good motorcycle for me?

I'm planning on getting a motorcycle.


16 years old, so I can't get anything too powerful?? The only thing I keep finding is a bunch of motorcycles that look like sport bikes.

I want something tough looking - like Harley style? I don't want a sporty looking bike.


Any ideas?

In Texas you can ride a bike 250cc, or under. Look at the Yamaha Virago. Its a good small cruiser. Tough looking, too. ; ^ )

Hello,,first of all,,you said it! "tough looking", anything can be modified to "look" the way you want it. If you don't want a fairing,take it off, paint the bike black, add something personal and enjoy it. You have the urge,,go for it,, a girl on a bike is cool, but don't neglect safety, remember the ******* in the road are not concerned about you. Something little is fun,get something real and enjoy it.

How bout a 131 ci chopper??

Almost a standard answer but how bout a 250 rebel want it tough looking you can paint a fire breathing skull or something on it but a good bike to learn on & about $25K cheaper than the chopper

Go for a v-twin cruiser like the Boulevard series Suzuki. Suzuki builds a reliable bike, they also handle well. I would suggest 650 to 900 CC.

I would suggest a Honda 250 or 450 rebel as a starter bike they are set up like a Harley cruiser and you can pick one up pretty cheep used. Just look it over for scratches and dents

go to suzuki shop they offer some simple street bikes that look nice.. sit on them to get seat height and comfort factor, always remeber to wear a helmet..

Sorry, "standard" appears to be a dying breed these days.
Get a Kawasaki Vulcan 500.
