World of Warcraft vs. Runescape?

Wht do u think?

I have played RS for quite some time...Alright game, nothing special, but fun if you play with friends. I am a lvl 84 in the game.

Getting sick of RS I tried the 10 day free trial for WoW. I think thats it pwns RS in graphics. However, as of game play, I think it is just alright. Pretty fun but I realize that there are not many people around to talk or habg with. My trial ended today and I was lvl 10 only - a noob. I did quests but I found it boring...maybe it gets better later on idk.

I honestly think that I find more fun hanging out with friends, swimming, biking, and even just playing video console games like guitar hero, or even playing wii sports and pwning my friends.

So wht do u think on Runescape, World of Warcraft, and just other activities.

DONT LISTEN TO THOSE NERDS. DO A SPORT OR AN ACTIVITY. RPG VIDEO GAMES RUINED MY LIFE. DONT PLAY VIDEO GAMES AND START DOING SOMETHING WITH YOUR LIFE!

I think Runescape would win my vote because it is pretty much free unless you buy membership. Even with the membership it costs much less than WoW per month anyways. I thought Wow was a lil boring. Also I prefer games that not a whole lot of ppl around me play so I can meet more people than just focussing on ppl around me. Those are my thoughts.

I wouldn't touch runescape you get what you pay for. I am an adult, so I don't need to go out and play with my friends, why my choice of entertainment is playing WoW.

world of warcraft is the best game runescape has BAD graphics and you lose your stuff if you die how stupid is that and you cant fly on a mount and you kill other players that are your race you cant even pick your race in runescape but in W.O.W. you pick hord or alliance and each side has 5 diffrent races for each side so as you can see WORLD OF WARCRAFT ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I think you should hang with friends and stuff like that, and if you feel like playing some computer from time to time, then i would prefer WoW...
when i play on my own char in wow, i always talk with some guildmates on ventrilo - a voicechat program.

You almost get friends with them and you can discuss everything from politics to food. For the gameplay, the first 15 levels stink, at least in my opinion.

However, you will remember your first instance runs, as instance runs is way more funny than doing anything in rs...

So be with your friends, and if you feel like being bored, go play wow!

i liked runescape for 2 weeks and then i hated it. about a year later, i decided to give WoW a try and i loved it since level 1. now i've been playing almost 2 years and i got a 70 hunter and a soon-to-be 70 druid.

if you wanna have the most fun you can on WoW, i suggest trying to get a large "leveling" guild. those guilds usually contain very friendly and helpful players, and you'll make a lot of good friends. that's what i find most fun about WoW...playing with real life friends, making friends through WoW, and having fun guild/ventrilo conversations. (and raiding while getting epic gearz LUL)

I have played Runescape from 3rd to 5th grade. I loved it.
Then i played World of Warcraft. I was hooked from 6th grade to now almost 8th and i still love it. Graphics and pvp are so more upgraded from Runescape along with the camera. More skills (weapon skills, professions) and if someone says "LOL RS IS FREE" there is a couple free ways to play WoW. :)

there is no free trial in runescape its free unless u become a member.runescape is better because dorks play world of warcraft.

RS is a terrible graphic game, it has no interest without paying, it lags too much, and it updates rarely and terribly

Wow has good graphics, more of a Race Class and Faction choice, more abilities, more armors, more weapons, more quests, and it has patch updates, plus, every year or 2 it releases expansions, but for a higher price.

Overall, Wow is the better game, but when you get higher it gets harder to level... same with RS

PS- The reason you didn't have anyone to talk or hang out with, is you got a low server, next time, if you get it, look for a full or high server

I play WoW with my husband.

It doesn't get really fun until about level 50ish.
But 70 is the best! (I have a 70 Blood Elf Priest on Rivendare)

the 10-day trial is suppose to really hook you. If it didnt, then that should be your answer. Keep in mind, you have to pay your monthly fee and everything else.

There are alot of MMORPGs out there. If you find one to be rather unexciting, then maybe thats a sign its not the one for you. As far as graphics go, WoW has some of the worst graphics around.

Guild Wars, Everquest 2, Lineage 2, D&D Online, Eve Online, Final Fantasy XI, LOTR Online, and Perfect World are just a handful of your other options. Age of Conan and Aion both look good too, but they're not out yet.

Video games should never be in the place of real life. Friends and a social life should always come first. All your friends busy, nothing to do, completely bored? Then turn on the games.

If you are bored with it now, it may not get any better later. I play a different MMO game because WoW is just too cut down for me. It gets boring fast, and the community is terrible. If you find other activities more enjoyable, you should probably do those and be happy.
