Looking to buy a sports bike? |
ok, so i am a new-be at this. i am interested in purchasing a used sports bike (looking to spend about 7k). I live in Southern California, and the new bikes i have looked at range from 10-13k Oh here we go again, another perspective organ donor that has never ridden and wants to go out and get a sportsbike. WITH 7 GRAND U CAN BUY A BRAND NEW BIKE AT ANY BIKE SHOP JUST LOOK AROUND look for a used 250cc Kawasaki Ninja and ride it for at least one season or two, then move up to the 600cc sport bikes as these are not for the beginners. and you will have to take a MSF course since you are under the age of 18 in order to get a motorcycle endorsement in the state of California if you have the money now buy a bike you are You can get any sport bike you want in mint condition for 7K. The trick in finding a bike that has never been down or abused. Motorcycle engines can last a very long time as long as you properly maintain them. If you have any friends that have experience with motorcycles, ask for assistance, so you don't end up with a lemon. You can get a brand new Ninja 500 for less than that. You might want to check out some bike on craigslist. You can often find good deals there. |

I would suggest 2 websites that have helped me. www.totalmotorcycle.com for reviews and general bike info. www.nadaguides.com then click on motorcycles and then motorcycle values. Great site... I aguree, I'd be more worried about my *** than the wind, you'll definatley want some experience before riding through harsh wind conditions. But as long as it's not a hurricane, you... I'll break it down part by part Frame: both about the same, aluminum (A1 on specialized and 7000ser... Who cares what others think ...If you're short the Kawasaki Ninja is a good bet, but just go and sit on a bunch of bikes - the salespeople will show you what fits right away! ...all of the motorcycle air horns that I have heard - and that's a lot - sound like clown car horns. Get a loud electric horn, nut more importantly keep your eyes open so you don't need the... do you even know how to ride. sport bike's are not for beginners. ... |
