Is it ridicules if I wear Harley Davidson merchandise but drive a super sport Yamaha bike? Who cares what others think Some people may laugh or think it is weird but who cares what they think. Enjoy your Yamaha and keep the shiny side up. Yes..but I do it on a Suzuki sv650....screw'em if they can't take a joke. its not "ridicules" and its not "weird" or "funny". Its just when you pass by someone who knows about bikes its probably a quick giggle, it wont be a story they will tell there grand kids and there kids will tell there grand kids. I'd say only if you wear the HD apparel while riding the Yamaha. For other times you'll blend right in. No, I don't ride a Harley but I still have some of there shirts ,Harley definitely has other bike company's beat in there merchandising I wear my HD uniform work shirt while riding my Honda to work at the HD dealer. Wear what u like, and forget about what everybody else thinks! NO....If its safety gear especially. If someone laughs at you their the bonehead/squid. Not ridiculous at all. Harley-Davidson is a business. They are in business to make money. They do not care who buys their merchandise. They wish everyone would buy their merchandise. I have been told by friends of mine that own Harleys that the clothing available at the dealerships are good quality. And you can not beat the nostalgia regarding the name and logo. Enjoy your riding gear and enjoy riding. No 8 out of 10 I sell the people dont even own a bike of any kind at least your on 2 wheels At least your riding the best. Harley sells good gear. If you like wearing it, don't worry about what other people think. I ride sport and have always ridden sport, First and foremost I AM a MOTORCYCLIST and I respect and appreciate everything on two wheels. I have worn a Norton, Triumph and Indian shirt while wearing my ZX 11 but I would never wear a H-D shirt here is why, NO!! Amen to JP. I ride a Kawasaki cruiser (Vulcan 800 Classic) but I won't wear Harley stuff because it is pointless (expensive and some people will look at you funny). where what you wanna wear. my dad wears victory shirts but owns a harley. it doesnt matter If the stuff was free no. If you bought it,SHAME ON YOU where did the fun of just riding go? when you are driving down the road I don't think people look that closely to match the bike with the clothes. If they did that too much might cause an accident. not to me if you already have the gear use it regardless of what you ride on, I ride a Harley Sportster and wear a textile Joe Rocket jacket with frank thomas gloves I went with them because they have armor plates for better protection which I couldn't find at Harley dealer until this year but who cares what others think it isn't about a fashion statement it's about having good riding gear on in case you go down No, do u mean a crotch rocket, if so yes Hell no Harley gave up making motorcycles years ago and became a fashion statement .......only wish there clothes were American made Yes people are laughing at you . It is ridiculous if you care what anyone thinks about what you wear. Don't mean any disrespect but I think folks tend to get way too hung up on that sort of thing. Just wear what you want and be your own person. Screw what anyone else thinks. i would prolly tell u to get a real bike............ |
