Good beginner bike for me? |
I'm 18 around 6'0 and 140 pounds, I live in L.A and have decided to get a bike. I want a sport bike and I was looking at the Kawasaki 250R. I don't want to spend too much as I am a college student. Are there any other sport bikes around the price range to $3,500-4,000 that I should also be looking at? The Ninja 250R is the perfect beginner bike. It is not overpowering, it handles well, and is ligh weight. If you have never ridden motorcycles before than I would start with that. Anything over that is usually too much power for a beginner. Good answer Ken, but first YOU MUST take a MSF course the tool that you learn you will apply to the streets and you just might save your own life. A 250 is too small. Try a used 500 or 650 kawaski instead. The 650 ninja is much better. The sv 650 suzuki is good also. This is a major decicion and I suggest the book |
