What is a good sport motorcycle for a girl?

Im only 4"11 and im need to find a short sports bike what do u think is good for me?

400's are generally smaller My favourite is the Honda RVF 400. 250's are smaller still but are slow and generally the newer ones are not 'proper' sports bikes just commuters with tarted fairings. Most bikes can be lowered by changing the suspention or the linkages. It might be worth asking here for more info.

not sure but crotch rockets are sporty

That's a tough call, any bike you get would need to be lowered. Here is a list of seat heights for most common bikes, As you can see, the lowest seat height for a sport bike is on the buell blast low profile edition. Hope this helps.

Definitely not most bikes seeing as you arent the tallest person in the world. I would have to agree with the above and say the Buell blast. or you could give up sportiness and go with a 250cc bike from almost any manufacturer

The Buell Blast hands down is the bike for you it has a bit of a sporty look too, it has plenty of go and is very manageable for a person of shorter stature. Another great thing about this bike is it is light at 360 lbs and 70mpg its an amazing bike i'm a guy and i like it for toolin' around Fort Lauderdale.

Asumming you're a new rider, don't even worry about the "sport" part, just get something you feel comfortable on for now. Chances are you're going to outgrow it quickly anyway, so don't sweat the style- save it for your next bike.

Once you get used to handling a bike at low speed, the height and weight are less of a challenge- you only really need to get a toe down to balance at a stop anyway. At any speed beyond a walk, size matters even less: most of the top racers are jockey-sized, and for good reason.

Ride safe!

mmm, tough. Like others have said, nearly anything you get will need a lowering suspension link. They are available for nearly all bikes and usually run about 50-200 bucks minus installation.

Like someone else mentioned, the buell blast has a very low seat height, but it's more of a standerd style bike. Not to say that they're bad bikes. I know someone that has one and is very happy with it.

My best reccomendation would be a suzuki katana 600 with a lowering link. A lot of women ride them (around my area at least) and they can be lowered up to 4 inches which would put it at about a 27 inch seat height. I also know a girl that rides a 2" lowered zx-6, but she's about 5' 2" and still has to stand on her tip toes when stopped.

The best thing you can do, though, is go to dealerships and sit on as many bikes as you can to see what fits you. If you can ALMOST reach the ground, then that bike and a lowering link is probably what you should get. Just make sure you ask for help when sitting on the bikes so you don't accidentally drop one!

Kawasaki 250 Ninja
Suzuki GS500

MV Agusta F4 312 R

or the 1078 RR

You'd fit great on a Ninja 250R. especially if you are a beginner. You'd have a blast on it. Then if you outgrow it, you can jump up to a Katana 600 or GS500

the Kawasaki Ninja 250cc up to the 600cc
