Are there any Chinese motorcycle dealers in the USA? |
I've seen a few Lifan dealers, but I am not looking for a harley-esque motorcycle, nor a sport bike (crotch rocket), but for something in between. I'm looking for a bike that looks like the old honda cb250 or cg125 like this one: if i wasn't at work and using limited internet i'd give you the link to a guy on livevideo that bought a chinese scooter. "What a deal" he though until it started fallin apart. From what i remember of it, both tires wouldn't hold air because of the rims, the mirrors FELL OFF, the kickstand broke off, the gauges stopped working... He said the only thing that still worked right was the $7 radio he stuck to it that he bought from walmart. d Your best off buying an old Japanese bikes the Chinese ones are very un realiable. I know someone that had a Lifan and the frame snapped in under a year and most of it rusted. If you want something that looks like a CB/CG get one it will last alot longer than a new Lifan. I hate to sound like a smart *** but every Pepboys is a Chinese motorcycle dealer. Cheap is not the way to go if you expect it to last. I have run into some people that think Chinese is the greatest thing next to toasted bread but every time I ask them how much they actually use it the answer is always "very little" or they go putting around on it and never really beat it up. I suppose this is the reason I bought a big diesel powered dually over a mazda pickup truck. I would rather have something that is overbuilt than not built good enough. The problem with the LIFAN is you can't even buy one in california as they are not legal on the road in that state. Why not just contact the sites you posted and ask for their dist . location then email them all those bikes made in china are junk. |
