I'm choosing between Haro Thread 1 and Haro Escape Sport? Plz help me decide which is better?

I'm basicaly going to bike to school with it, go into deep trails that has lots of mud and water, some dirt jumps.

The Thread 1 is going to be faster but the Escape Sport is going to be stronger. It depends on your type of riding. The Thread is going to be better for race when the Escape will be better for drops and jumps. Go to Scheels and they will hook you up.

I would choose the safest at first then switch out
