Good 1st bike for tall person? |
I'm 6'5" tall, and about 195lbs, i'm looking to buy my first bike. I really like sport bike look, but don't want a big engine. I was thinking the SV650, FZ6, or 599. I know there are smaller bikes out there like the Ninja 500r, etc, but i heard those are fairly small and hard to ride if you're taller. I think it would be better to get a naked bike too in case i drop it... Be sure you DON'T take the advice from the person that commented first. Most of those are supersport 600's and are going to be more than you can handle for a while. honda f4i, cbr600rr kawasaki versus is a pretty tall naked bike, and it has an adjustable windshield... Be the Mr. Cool you say you are and get the do it all bike...BMW R1200GSA or 1150GSA. You will thank me later. I'm 6'1" & have a Suzuki DL650. I could flatfoot with the stock seat but now I'm on my toes with the optional gel seat, so I'm putting on 1" lowering links soon. It's a tall bike but probably a good fit for you. The Kawasaki Versys 650 is also worth a look. Kawasaki KLR650. It has a tall 35 inch seat height. |
