Foot volleyball? |
i saw a clip the other day of a game that was very similar to volleyball however it was played only with your feet. same rules as volleyball as far as three hits boundaries etc... however the net was like 6ft high and to spike the players kicked the ball with a bicycle kick and the ball could be blocked with an opposing bicycle kick type thing. the ball was made of wicker and the game is prevalent in countries that practice martial arts. for instance the match i saw was between malaysia and thailand. i think this game is call baku or something, i just can't remember exactly the name. i would like to find out some more information about this sport so if you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated! thanks so much for your time. :) It is called takraw (ta-kraw) or also called sepak (say-pak) takraw.
