Is a CBR 929RR a good stunt bike? how does it rate to other sport bikes? The 929 RR is an excellent choice as stunt bike. Due to the length of the swingarm and other factors, it has a sweet balance point for wheelies. It has plenty of power, good torque with a linear delivery, but is not overpowering or peaky. You can also get them for a very good price. A friend of mine has had GSXR 1Ks, and R1s, and he prefers the Honda for stunting. '02 and newer R1s have longish swingarms, so finding the balance point is trickier, and the '04 and newer R1s are (comparatively) lacking in bottom-end and mid-range which is never a good thing for stunting. The new Kawi 10R are excessively powerful for stunting, the 'Busas are powerful but are much too long and heavy. I would say go for the Kawasaki Ninja or Suzuki Hayabusa. More Faster. ANd More Fun. Most any bike is stuntable but If you look at most stunt riders they usually are on 600 or 750s mostly 600s. The Gixxer 600 is mainly stunted by my favorite stunter Jason Britton and he swears by this bike. I don't see to many stunters on 1ks mostly wheelie crazed stunters on 1ks. The lighter the bike the more flexible your stunts can be. DONT'T stunt a busa.. Not a good bike to stunt and any stunter will agree with me on this 929 is not the best bike for stunts. get a 600cc put a 3 stag sprocket kit on it and side bars and your done? wheelies with out using your clutch just gas that's the best combo for a stunt bike oh and it has to be a bike that you don't care about cause you will mess it up bad |
