I am thinking about moving to Alaska how long can you ride sport bike up there? depends on if it is summer or winter 2.3 hours You only have a window of about 3 to 4 months and even then 2 of those months will be cold. Until it snows....about 10 minutes put on tire chains and tata warmers and you are set for the year Till you run out of gas or shut it off Depends on the area. In Anchorage you should be able to ride until Halloween, maybe longer. They do a good job keeping trails and bike paths open. In the wintertime most bike paths turn into groomed cross country ski trails! |
