I'm interested in getting a motorcycle. What would be a good bike for a new rider, a harley or a sport bike? I agree with Harleys making too much noise, but when you say get a 600 first? An 06 250 Ninja is 3400 out the door, an 06 ZX6R is definetely over 8, thats twice the price, so I guess it all depends on how much money you have, I think the 250 is a perfect starter bike though, it is cheap, really has no power/ torque till 7k so it is very easy to start out, or any small cruiser will work, and saying that everyone is going to fall starting out is wrong, I never had training wheels, atarted out on a regular bicycle and now ride motorcycles and have never fallen:) a sport bike! Get the Harley An 883 harley if your new Or a 250 ninja BUT Personally Id go with the Harley aSPORT BIKES ARE TOO QUICK ON THE THROTTLE FOR A NEW RIDER, STEERING AND ALL neither. You are a new rider, therefore inexperienced. Expect to have at least one accident while learning. I recommend buying an older, used bike until you get your bearings. That way, you don't ruin a nice Harley. Then, forget the crotch rocket and get a HARLEY!!! Both of them are for pros You should start from bicycle :) |
