i have an 07 R6S, im really happy with it stock, but yesterday i found out that its too quite for others to hear me. so i need some tips from other riders who have nice LOUD exhaust pipes on their bike. i dont care about getting extra HP or anything just need to be loud enough for those @$$&)&%! in their cars with their radio on blast to hear. some dude in his car decided to change into my lane as i was slowing down because of traffic, i lowered my shoulder expecting to hit his window but luckily he realized and changed back before anything could happen. some links would be nice thank you Micron, well made, reasonably priced. The race versions are louder. Source(s): Have a listen- http://micronexhaust.com/store/sounds/r6... Instead of louder pipes... go for louder colors. As in your riding apparel or graphics on the bike. =^ ) I have a R1 but when I had my old suzey i had a D&D pipe on it !!! It s cheap and easy. be careful on higways during the day becuase of traffic but at night who cares !!! fyi cops hate loud pipes and if you ever plan on running dont have a loud pipe !!! ride safe! but dont be stupid Ive been riding for 5 years and some s**** still gets me! cars HATE YOU REMEMBER THAT!!! AIR HORNS.... fit a relay where your horn is & connect it to air horns... they will hear them..... I fit mine to the rear of the bike just under where the pillions calf would be.. pointing down at the road to keep the rain out of them.. the compressor goes under the duck tail... 35 years riding & counting dont overdo it... you might become the guy that no one wants to ride behind because your pipes are too loud. almost any aftermarket pipe will be significantly louder than stock |
