What's a good bike for a guy that's 6'5 280 pounds? |
Getting one when i get back to the states, looking for a sport bike, not a harley....those arn't my style.... With that height and weight coupled with the desire to go with a sportbike there are really only a few choices. Completely bypass the 1000cc bikes and below. They are all small. What you'd want to consider is the Suzuki Hyabusa GSX-R1300 or the Kawasaki ZX12 or ZX14. The 13 and the 14 will give you the most power available in a streetbike which will prevent the bike from feeling sluggish with your 280lbs onboard. You may find the best deal on the 12 which delivers similar power but, now that Kawasaki has released the new ZX14 people who own ZX12's are eager to sell and upgrade so its a buyer's market for the 12's. a Tomos mo-pad 2 speed automatic Hyabusa Go to metric dealerships and look for their big bikes. You have to find one that 'fits' you. NOT all bikes are the same. AND WHY would you not want a Harley-Davidson? Buy American man....Go for the VRSCDX Night Rod Special! Baa, baa black sheep have you any intestinal fortitude? (that's from the site) Awesome ride!!!!! http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/conte... Go Jap bikes! You need at least a 1000cc bike. Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha are the best! use that combat zone pay to buy a kawasaki zx-14. fastest and biggest bike out there right now. or a busa. cruisers aren't that bad. suzuki boulevard M109-R is a badass cruiser. |
