What's a good begginers sports bike? |
Ok I'm going to get my driver's lisence this year, but I'm ganna get my motorcycle lisence to but I want to know whats good bike to start out with that still looks kinda cool? Thanks Only two starter bikes in the Sport class I recommend. 1.Ninja Sport 250R Kawasaki 2. Suzuki GSX-R 600cc. All of the racing schools have the GSXR Suzuki 600cc, because it's easy to run on the corners, so if you plan to go to any race or advance schools, just buy this one and go slow for the first 3 months. They all look good!! but don't hop on some 300 HP crotch rocket and think you'll do real good .You will probably crash!!Stay under 500cc's and you should be OK.Get a bike that is pretty common and you can resell easilly.Don't buy some used bike that you have any doubts about,if you have doubts ,the're probably true!!Pay a little more for a few less cc's and learn how to ride correctly/safetly. Take a safety course sponcered by the Highway Dept in your state. I've been riding for 40 yrs, racing for 11 of that Kawasaki Ninja 250! Even experienced riders have fun with these bikes. They are inexpensive, especially for used. (new is only $3k) I recently got one as a 2nd bike (other is a cruiser) kawasaki ninja 250 or 500 For a sport bike, the Kawasaki Ninja 250 looks and is cool! It will keep you entertained for quite a while. |
