What are some models of small cc sport bikes? |
I'm a beginner rider looking to buy a motorcycle. For my first bike I'd like to get something in a 250cc. I know the Ninja is great, but are there any other options so that I can weigh my choices? I know you're looking for other options, but from experience, I have to say the Ninja is the best bet for beginners. I learned on the '00 500R, moved up to my '05 Suzuki GSXR600 last year. The clutch system is really forgiving, has a low center of gravity (easy cornering), and the shift motion is massively easy to learn. Yuo can only ride a 125cc bike on an L plate The Ninja is one of the most popular and best selling models of 250CC sport bikes. The reviews for it are phenomenal, and its performance given its size and fair retail price are nearly impossible to beat. However, there are other options. MANY major companies make reliable 250CC sport bikes, and below i have supplied you with a website listing many of these bikes. Some of the better rated [and in my personal opinion, best looking] bikes include the following models: The Honda CBR 250 and CBX 250, Suzuki GSXR 250, Suzuki GSF 250 Bandit, Suzuki RGV 250, Yamaha FZR 250, FZR 250R, RZ250, SRX250, TZR250, and the Aprilia RS250. The following website has information and pictures of each of these models, so you can see for yourself if it is what you are looking to get. Good Luck in your hunt! http://www.250ccbikes.com/models.html... If you're in the US, you're stuck with very few options in the 250cc range: Honda Rebel, Kawi Ninja, Suzuki GZ250. Only the Ninja is a 'sportbike'. Now if you live in the UK, NZ or Oz, there's lots more variety. get the ninja 250, best bike to start out on Look at Kawasaki Ninja's, Yamaha Virago's, Honda Rebels/Nighthawks for good starter bikes. |
